Rt. Rev. Augustine Chijioke is the Founding President / Chairman of MentWell Foundation!
He is a native of Akaagbani Umunugwo Obioma in Udi LGA, Enugu State.
He studied Business Administration and Management at the prestigious Institute of Management and Technology. In 1988, he acquired HND in the said discipline.
In 1987, on coming back from NYSC Programme in Bauchi, he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Master. It was on the 24th December 1987 through the Christmas Message of the first Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Rt. Rev. G. N. Otubelu of blessed memory. Meanwhile, Chijioke began to work for Tina Industries Nigeria Limited, Onitsha before he was called to Full Time Ministry in 1989. From 1989 to 1990 he was a Church Teacher with the Diocese of Enugu before he was selected for Entrance Examination into the Trinity Theological College, Umuahia. At Trinity College, Chijioke was elected President of the Student's Union (known as the Chief of the College) 1992-1993 Session. He now holds a masters degree in pastoral theology (M. Div)
By the grace of God, on the 4th July 1993, he was made a Deacon and on 10th July, 1994 was priested by the first Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Rt. Rev. G. N. Otubelu.
He was elected Bishop by Church of Nigeria House of Bishops in Lagos Mainland Diocese on November 12, 2008. On January 11, 2009 they were consecrated Bishops (thirteen of them) at All Saints Cathedral Church Ughelli in Delta State, Nigeria. On January 14, 2009 before hilarious worshippers from far and near, Bishop Chijioke was enthroned and installed the first Bishop of the Diocese of Udi.
Rt. Rev. Chijioke Aneke is married to his amiable wife, Mrs. Comfort Aneke (Nee Agbo). They are blessed with four children.
He Registered Mentwell Foundation because of his Passion to See a Society free of Mental Cases... He is so Passionate on this and we thank God that the Dream is growing bigger on daily bases.
